We are an incoming tour operator specialized in cultural and ecological tours in Portugal. Living in Porto, we have researched, visited and spent time in each location we recommend.
Our strength comes from our considerable experience creating the most didactic and fun tours as possible. Smaller groups guarantee more interaction with the guides and the opportunity to stop at interesting sites where big buses can't go!
We want to share experiences in harmony with the local people since we are totally committed to the responsible tourism and sustainable development. We contribute for the better living conditions of the rural people and minimizing the impact of our visit in these regions.
The team members are:
Vasco: He has a great passion for Northern Portugal, especially by the National Park Peneda-Gerês and the Douro region and he is very proud to lead a specialist team in creating dreamful journeys through a service of excellence.
Luis: Tourism Graduated. National Guide for more than 15 years. He has a great passion for Porto city, where he was born more than 40 years ago. Each program is a challenge, trying to overtake visitant expectations.
Susana: Marketing Graduated. She fell in love by ecoTours due to its commitment with the tourists, before, during and after each journey, and the social responsibility promoted by all the team members.
Luísa: Tourism Graduated and National Guide. She speaks English and German fluently. She loves her profession and the contact with different people and mindsets. She is extremely committed to the visitant expectations and she is always keen to share with “her guests” her knowledge about Portugal and its people.
Raquel: Tourism Graduated and Travel Consultant. She knows the Douro region as nobody else, where she lived several years when younger. She loves to explain each of the Douro traditions, deeply connected to the river and Port Wine. What satisfies her most is to know that each visitor arrives as a visitant and leaves as a friend.
Elisabete: Tourism Graduated and National Guide. Working many years as a guide in the Douro cruises, she became a truly specialist in this region.
Bárbara: Tourism Graduated and National Guide and Germanics. She is very active, communicative, and she has already worked in several foreign countries which gave her a very broad vision about other cultures.
Anne Kivistö: She was born in Finland where she studied at the Helsinki University. She has been living in Porto about 20 years and she fell in love with Portugal because of its extremely varied landscape and unique nature, wonderful people and delicious food and wine. Minho is her favourite Portuguese region where she spends most of her spare time. She is our link between Finland, Scandinavia and Portugal.
Luisa K.: Born in Africa (Angola) and with a German father and Portuguese mother she grew up with the traditions of different cultures. She spent her childhood in Germany and lives now for over 20 years in Portugal, the country she felt in Love with. As an enthusiastic Tour Guide, it pleases her every time when she can show and share the many treasures and secrets Portugal’s with her guests.
