The Douro Region was the world’s first demarcated wine region in 1756. The river valley possesses a high potential to become a unique tourist destination due to its diversity and natural and cultural heritage.
Douro is a landscape which is both natural and moulded by men, cultures, quietness and peacefulness, the Wine, the river and the old villages. There are numerous sign-posted viewpoints where we can appreciate the surrounding natural beauty. We have selected the best Quintas where we can understand why this region was classified World Heritage by UNESCO.
Day 1: Porto

Day 2: Douro World Heritage
Solar da Rede.
Quinta do Seixo.
Train station and Cais do Pinhão.
